About Agricultural Accountants
Agricultural Accountants does the tax and accounts for working farms: dairy, livestock, arable, mixed and diversified holdings, tenanted and owner-occupied, across the UK. The work is carried out by Tidy Money Ltd, a practice regulated by the ACCA and owned by Preetesh Parmar FCCA. You can check the practice independently at tidymoney.com before you send us anything.
We are not a directory, and your details do not go to a panel of firms. An enquiry sent from this site arrives at the practice that would do the work, and nobody pays us to recommend them.
Engagement, Fees and Identity Checks
You tell us what you farm, how the land and the business are held, and what is outstanding. We come back with a fixed fee for the work and the date it has to be finished by. The quote is free and carries no obligation. Where your position is genuinely simple, we say so rather than quote for it.
Once the fee is agreed, anti-money-laundering identity checks come first, as they do at every UK practice. After that we ask for the farm records once, in a single list, rather than in a chain of emails across the busy seasons.
The Limit on What We Advise
Tidy Money Ltd is regulated by the ACCA and holds no permission from the Financial Conduct Authority. On succession that draws a clear line. We calculate the inheritance-tax position, structure the reliefs, deal with the gifting and file the claim. We do not tell you whether to take out life insurance to cover a bill, or what to invest in, because that is regulated financial advice, and anyone giving it without that permission is doing something they should not.
We also do not sell tax-avoidance schemes. The job is to apply the rules correctly and claim the reliefs a farm is entitled to, not to sell a structure HMRC will later unpick.
Sourcing and Review
The guidance on this site is written and reviewed by the Agricultural Accountants editorial team. There are no named authors we cannot stand behind, no invented credentials and no biographies.
Every rate, threshold and date comes from GOV.UK, an HMRC manual or legislation, and carries the date it was last checked. Farm tax has moved a great deal recently, and the inheritance-tax figure in particular changed twice, so where a figure moved we say what it was before and when. Everything was last checked on 27 July 2026, and anything we could not confirm against a primary source is not on the site at all.
There are no customer reviews or testimonials here. If that changes, they will be real and checkable.
